Seasonal activities are plentiful; you can cross country ski in the winter, osprey watch in the spring, summer brings seining to the Island's bay shore, and see spectacular foliage in the fall.
Visitors will enjoy the over 6 miles of marked nature trails. One trail is a winding boardwalk, just wide enough for two people to pass one another. It comes to an abrupt end exposing the beauty of Cattus Island and Silver Bay.
 
Bicycling is restricted to the 2 mile unpaved fire road. If you're quiet you may see deer along the road.
