New Jersey Shore

New Jersey has over 127 miles of Atlantic coastline and 83 miles of shoreline along the Raritan and Delaware Bays. The Jersey Shoreline encompasses four distinct regions; the Jersey Shore Region, the Greater Atlantic City Region, Southern Jersey Shore Region and the Delaware River Region.
The Jersey Shore Region is the closest to North Jersey and is part of the New York metro area, making this shore area very popular for day trips, long weekends and week long vacations. In addition to the excellent hotel accommodations, many visitors looking for extended vacations may choose summer rentals by their owners.

The Greater Atlantic City Region has a variety of attractions. Enjoy the action of the Atlantic City casinos; take a walk on the Boardwalk and go directly to the Aquarium. The family will also enjoy Noyes Museum of Art, Historic Smithville and Lucy the Margate Elephant.

The Southern Jersey Shore Region, known locally as South Jersey, attracts families to the Wildwood boardwalk and couples to Cape May for a relaxing day or long weekends and Sea Isle City with lots of family activities.

The Delaware River Region is rich in revolutionary war history and is located on the most south west region of New Jersey, it boarders Pennsylvania along the Delaware River.
